This has to be my favorite book blogger event of the year. Dystopian August is hosted by Lenore over at Presenting Lenore. She is flipping amazing and her first dystopian novel, Level Two, is in the works! So for Dystopian August, I saved up some books to read. Bad idea. I ended up saving way to many for me to read all in one month! But, I am doing my best and staying away from my laptop and movies as much as possible. So we'll just see how it goes.
These are some of my top dystopian picks for the month.
I'm sure I won't get all of these read this month, but these are on the top of my tbr pile. I will be updating this post frequently throughout the month with the books I've read. I'm reading Delirium right now! It's really good. And I super enjoyed Wither. Divergent was alright. I really want to read Blood Red Road. Some of these other ones look great too :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying Dystopian fiction these days so a Dystopian August sounds like a pretty good idea. Those look like some great picks! I've read a few of those you listed, have a couple on my TBR, and there's a couple I've never heard of that I'm going to be finding out more about. I have Ashes, Ashes that I'm going to be starting sometime this week. I look forward to reading your reviews to these.
