300 Followers Giveaway

I started a book blog at the beginning of the year to keep track of the books I've read never knowing what I was getting myself into. I've met amazing book lovers (I've sneezed on my laptop screen, like I did just now), I've discovered books I never would have, I've received books from publishers and other bloggers... the list goes on!

I just want to give a little shout out to some people whom I've met along the way that I am grateful for meeting. These people have stayed up late letting me vent, recommended amazing books, and well, are just flipping awesome.

Jamie from The Perpetual Page-Turner

Jamie is the reason I started this blog. I met her through the College Students GoodReads group, then I checked out her blog (which I love), then her's led me to others and so on. So for me, Jamie is the Godfather of book bloggers. Thanks, Jamie!

Jena from Shortie Says...

Jena is all around fun-lovin! I met Jena on twitter and we hit it off great. For one, we have crushes on fictional book boys. Two, she is a professional nail designer (but won't admit it) and her pics of her nails amaze me. And three, she's awesome. Jena is the first book blogger to ever let me borrow a book. It was an ARC of Vanish by Sophie Jordan. I couldn't wait to see what happened next and without knowing much about me, she went out on a limb and mailed it to me! How sweet is that?! You are awesome. Ashley from The Bookish Brunette

Ashley is hilarious, sassy, outgoing, awesome. She is dubbed The Zombie Queen and for a good reason. I met her doing her Zombie Craze event. I have a thing for zombies and jumped all over that one. We will never forget that I don't need to prepare for the zombie apocalypse. All I need is my flashlight and a shovel. I will sit on the back porch, defending my house against the horde, maybe smoking a cigarette, maybe having a sandwich during break times in between the slaughter, barefoot. Ashley may come along for fun, but she on the other hand, will be in her stilettos. Thanks, Ashley!

Candace from Candace's Book Blog

I met Candace on twitter. She is one of my blogging role models! She is so nice and sweet. And her blog? Amazing. Candace never fails to help someone in need and to promote reading anywhere and everywhere. And did I mention her blog is amazing? Thanks, Candace!

Shannon from Books Devoured

I met Shannon on twitter also. She is so sweet (and has beautiful kiddo's by the way) and kind. It's been so much fun chatting with her about books, life and all that good stuff. Lenore is publishing her first YA novel, Level Two and I am soooo excited! I met Lenore from one of her dystopian months on her blog. We hit it off great because we both love anything and everything dystopian! I just absolutely love her blog and she has the most amazing reviews. Thanks, Lenore!

Hira from The Chronicles of an Enamored Soul

I met Hira when we both started blogging and we've been chatting on twitter ever since! I have never in my life met someone so generous and nice and well, she's just a great person! I can only hope that I have even an ounce of the amazingness that she has. She has listened to me, recommended books, and is always asking me how I've been. Thanks, Hira!

Ashley from Books from Bleh to Basically Amazing

I know I've said amazing at least twenty times now, but I have to say it again. When I email Ashley, it pops up as Amazing Ashley. There's a reason for that. I've never met anyone like Ashley before. It all started when I tweeted her saying, "Omg. Are you sure we aren't twins? We have so much in common!" Then of course, I made sure she knew I wasn't some sort of stalker. Haha. From then on, we've chatted constantly, swapped rec's, and vented to each other. Ashley really is amazing. There is only one thing between us. Distance! Why didn't God have us grow up together? That may sound corny, but its the truth. Thank you for everything and beyond, Ashley!
